Action and Uses:
Yohimbine is a drug approved by the FDA for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Almost all clinical studies have been conducted with yohimbine rather than yohimbe bark powder or yohimbe extracts. For more than 80 years yohimbine has been used as a treatment for male and female sexual difficulties. It stimulates erectile tissue in both sexes, and enhances sexual sensitivity, arousal and orgasm .
